Upon entering El Foyu, we were warmly welcomed by the charming staff who made us feel right at home. The rustic yet cozy room with a comfortable bed and modern amenities provided a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the Camino Norte. The housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring a clean and tidy space at all times. The hotel's location, just a short walk from the center of Colunga, allowed us to easily access the town's offerings while still feeling secluded in the peaceful countryside. We enjoyed relaxing in the library by the large fireplace, savoring a welcome drink while planning our next adventures with the help of the attentive staff's tours and ticket assistance.In the morning, the lovely breakfast spread, featuring homemade delicacies, fueled our day, ready to embark on our excursions to the nearby beaches such as La Griega and La Espasa. The free WiFi throughout the property made it easy to stay connected, and the on-site bar was a delightful spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. El Foyu's charm, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional hospitality provided us with a memorable stay. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful retreat in rural Spain with easy access to both nature and town amenities.
